Shannon Galvin – Owner/Agent

I was born and raised in the Houston area where I became involved in hunter/jumpers at a young age and I have been riding ever since, competing mainly in the Southern U.S.

I received my Bachelors in Animal Science and my Masters in Equine Reproduction from Texas A&M University. During my education, I became very interested in equine medicine to include the reproductive process working for a few clinics in the area as well as internationally for an embryo transfer center in Holland.

My background, experiences and being a part of the equine community has helped me determine my career path. I am very proud to say that I chose the insurance and financial industry so I could serve the equine communities with which I share a passion for.

Ashley Aguilar – Sales Associate

I was born and raised in New Jersey.  I received a B.S. in Animal Science from University of Vermont then a M.S. in Equine Reproduction from Texas A&M University.  After meeting my husband and starting our family, Texas is definitely home.

I have been involved in many aspects of the horse industry – from growing up riding hunter/jumpers in NJ, driving Morgans in VT, to trying my hand at eventing and stock horses in Texas. I’ve worked for trainers, a tack store, and a commercial quarter horse breeding farm.

I’m excited to extend my career path into the financial and insurance industry.  I look forward to helping protect the investments that matter most to you.

Sarah S. Medina – Client Service Representative

 
I’m a retired from being a teacher for 32 years. I taught ESL, reading lab, and dyslexia classes for grades Pre-K to 5th. I believe I loved teaching 1st graders the most! I have a son, a daughter, and two lively grandsons. Working with Galvin Agency is a great way to keep my mind and fingers busy. I look forward to working with you!

 

Lori Gibson – Account Manager

Growing up as a Pony Clubber in the Tomball area, horses have always been a huge part of my life. After graduating from the University of Houston-Downtown I began training professionally, full time. I have had the honor of working and training with some top barns and elite coaches. I have a background in Eventing but mostly focus on Dressage now. In addition to two pasture pets, I have two dogs and two cats who are the lights of my life.
 
I’ve spent over a year in the insurance industry and have developed a genuine passion for serving the community and protecting what matters most. I’m thrilled to be with a company that values Farm Life as much as I do and understands the intricacies of the business.
